Private Dispute Resolution Services, LLC Awarded Parent Education and Mediation Fund Grant
We are thrilled to announce that Private Dispute Resolution Services, LLC (PDRS) has been awarded funding through the Parent Education and Mediation Fund Grant from the Supreme Court of Tennessee Administrative Office of the Courts. This grant will further our ongoing collaboration with the Hamilton County Juvenile Court’s Community Parenting Plan Initiative (CPPI).
Since 2019, PDRS has been a proud partner with the Court, dedicated to helping parents understand and navigate the complexities of shared parenting and child support obligations. Our mission is to support parents—particularly those who are never-married or low-income—in creating practical and legally sound parenting plans that are in the best interests of their children.
The CPPI initiative offers mediation services aimed at developing these vital parenting plans. With this grant, we are excited to continue providing:
- Rule 31 Reduced-Fee Mediation: Ensuring access to affordable mediation services for families, including bilingual
- Community Education: Offering educational programs to help organizations working with parents and families better understand the parenting plan process.
- Continuing Education: Providing advanced training in mediation and addressing the unique challenges of domestic violence for mediators, attorneys, and other community professionals.
This funding will enable us to expand our reach and impact, enhancing our ability to continue to serve families and effectively support the community.
